Today is #loveyourpetday. Here at UES we have an office aquarium and we love our fish! Plymouth and Exeter University recently did a study that found watching aquariums led to a 'noticeable reduction in blood pressure and heart rate'
We'd love to see your pets, comment below!

We’d like to say a huge thank you and a very sad goodbye to one of our engineers - Matt Ricketts! After almost 24 years with UES, he will soon be starting a new venture outside of mechanical engineering. Please join us in wishing Matt the best of luck; he will be sorely missed!

UES are very keen on sustainability. We love working with greener technology like air source heat pumps and solar energy. Thanks to Renewable Heat Incentives, and the lower running costs, we expect to see a much bigger shift in the next couple of years to greener energy.

It's #NAW2021 this week. Imogen started with us last month as our Marketing apprentice! "The team at UES have been so welcoming. Everyone provides me with fantastic support and I'm continuously learning new skills!"

We have been busy with renewing and refitting the plumbing work for 14 flats in Bath. As you can imagine, it hasn’t been easy when you can only have 2 or 3 people inside due to social distancing, but we have made it work! #plumbing #uesteam #socialdistance

It’s National Apprenticeship Week!

To launch #NAW2021 we're proud to bring you a video of some fantastic apprentices who have stepped up during the pandemic.

We recently completed a replacement system for the Holiday Inn. Slightly different though, it was an LPG system as they aren’t on gas. Great to see that they were one of the hotels around the Bristol area that were housing the homeless and vulnerable during lockdown. @HolidayInn

Green Business Grants of up to £15,000 are available to help small and medium sized enterprises in the West of England to improve their energy efficiency.

We're running the £1.7m grants scheme as part of our Low Carbon Challenge Fund.
